Vegetables
With just three ingredients and minimal prep, you can turn potatoes into a side dish. Seasoned with salt or with rosemary and paprika, they come out of the oven perfectly crisp every single time.
Ingredients :
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil)
- Optional: Dried thyme, rosemary, or paprika for seasoning
Preparation :
- Peel the potatoes and rinse them thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch.
- Cut the potatoes into wedges, cubes, or thin rounds, depending on your preference.
- Place the potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with the vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt (add spices if using).
- Toss everything well until the potatoes are evenly coated with oil and seasoning.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the potatoes in a single layer. Do not overcrowd them.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
