Pasta
A flavorful Mediterranean-style pasta. This recipe features ground beef sautéed with onions and peppers, combined with fresh tomatoes and spices.
Ingredients :
- 1/2 package of pasta
- 200 g ground beef
- 1/2 onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1/3 tsp sweet red pepper powder
- 1/3 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 tsp cumin
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 5 sprigs of finely chopped parsley
Preparation :
- Start by finely chopping the onion and green pepper into small pieces.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan; add the ground beef and sauté until it releases and then reabsorbs its juices.
- Add the chopped onions and peppers to the beef and continue to sauté.
- Once the onions are translucent, add the tomato paste and sauté until its aroma is released.
- Add the peeled and diced tomatoes, cooking the mixture until the tomatoes have completely softened and integrated.
- Add the salt, black pepper, cumin, and red pepper powder; stir the sauce and remove from heat.
- Meanwhile, boil the pasta in plenty of salted water.
- Transfer the boiled pasta and one cup of the pasta cooking water into the meat sauce.
- Cook everything together until the pasta has absorbed the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.
