Pasta

A flavorful Mediterranean-style pasta. This recipe features ground beef sautéed with onions and peppers, combined with fresh tomatoes and spices.

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 package of pasta
  • 200 g ground beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1/3 tsp sweet red pepper powder
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp cumin
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 5 sprigs of finely chopped parsley

Preparation :

  • Start by finely chopping the onion and green pepper into small pieces.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan; add the ground beef and sauté until it releases and then reabsorbs its juices.
  • Add the chopped onions and peppers to the beef and continue to sauté.
  • Once the onions are translucent, add the tomato paste and sauté until its aroma is released.
  • Add the peeled and diced tomatoes, cooking the mixture until the tomatoes have completely softened and integrated.
  • Add the salt, black pepper, cumin, and red pepper powder; stir the sauce and remove from heat.
  • Meanwhile, boil the pasta in plenty of salted water.
  • Transfer the boiled pasta and one cup of the pasta cooking water into the meat sauce.
  • Cook everything together until the pasta has absorbed the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.
