Pasta

A delicious classic that elevates simple pasta into a tasty meal. This dish features boiled pasta topped with a creamy garlic yogurt and sautéed minced meat topping. Finished with red pepper sauce, it is a quick and tasty dinner option.

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 pack of pasta (of your choice)
  • 200 g minced meat (ground beef)
  • 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes or paprika
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves

Preparation :

  • Begin by boiling the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, sauté the minced meat in a separate pan until it is browned and its juices have evaporated. Season with salt.
  • As the meat cooks, peel and crush the garlic cloves. In a medium bowl, whisk the yogurt and crushed garlic together until smooth.
  • In a small sauce pot or ladle (cezve), heat the vegetable oil. Once hot, stir in the red pepper flakes or paprika, sizzle for a few seconds, and immediately remove from heat to prevent the spices from burning.
  • Drain the cooked pasta and transfer it to a serving platter.
  • To serve, first spread the garlic yogurt over the pasta. Top it with the sautéed minced meat and finish by drizzling the warm red pepper sauce over the dish.
  • Serve immediately while warm.
