Pasta
A delicious classic that elevates simple pasta into a tasty meal. This dish features boiled pasta topped with a creamy garlic yogurt and sautéed minced meat topping. Finished with red pepper sauce, it is a quick and tasty dinner option.
Ingredients :
- 1/2 pack of pasta (of your choice)
- 200 g minced meat (ground beef)
- 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes or paprika
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves
Preparation :
- Begin by boiling the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, sauté the minced meat in a separate pan until it is browned and its juices have evaporated. Season with salt.
- As the meat cooks, peel and crush the garlic cloves. In a medium bowl, whisk the yogurt and crushed garlic together until smooth.
- In a small sauce pot or ladle (cezve), heat the vegetable oil. Once hot, stir in the red pepper flakes or paprika, sizzle for a few seconds, and immediately remove from heat to prevent the spices from burning.
- Drain the cooked pasta and transfer it to a serving platter.
- To serve, first spread the garlic yogurt over the pasta. Top it with the sautéed minced meat and finish by drizzling the warm red pepper sauce over the dish.
- Serve immediately while warm.
