Meat Dishes

Ingredients :

  • 850 g cubed meat
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large tomato
  • 4 green peppers
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cups hot water

Preparation :

  • Heat a pot on high and add the meat. Cook until it releases water, then cover and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking until water evaporates.
  • Chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, and green peppers.
  • Once meat has released its water, add olive oil and onions, stir, then cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped green peppers, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato paste and cover again.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the paste releases its aroma, then add tomatoes and garlic, cover.
  • Once tomatoes cook for 2-3 minutes, add sweet paprika, thyme, salt, hot water, and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is fully tender, about 1 hour.
