Meat Dishes
Ingredients :
- 850 g cubed meat
- 1 large onion
- 1 large tomato
- 4 green peppers
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups hot water
Preparation :
- Heat a pot on high and add the meat. Cook until it releases water, then cover and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking until water evaporates.
- Chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, and green peppers.
- Once meat has released its water, add olive oil and onions, stir, then cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chopped green peppers, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato paste and cover again.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the paste releases its aroma, then add tomatoes and garlic, cover.
- Once tomatoes cook for 2-3 minutes, add sweet paprika, thyme, salt, hot water, and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is fully tender, about 1 hour.
