Vegetable Dishes
Ingredients :
- 500 g fresh green beans
- Half a tea glass (70 g) olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- Half tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 large onion
- 1 medium tomato
- 2 cups hot water
Preparation :
- Wash and trim the beans, cut as shown in the picture.
- Grate or finely chop the onion.
- Dice the tomato, chop the garlic.
- In a large pot, layer onion, oil, beans, tomato, garlic, sugar, and salt.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 40 min.
- Check, stir, and add hot water.
- Cook for another 20 min, then turn off heat when beans are tender and golden.
